about

YHDoD brings RGPR full circle, somewhat. We started writing music together about 10 years ago. Those first songs were all instrumental, the two of us learning how to write with each other, or just how to write. After our Serious as a Heart Attack, it's nice to return to instrumentals and figure it all out again. This album started in response to an internet songwriting contest to produce Postal Service-esque instrumental tracks, but we've kinda gone all over the place stylistically while still keeping instrumental electronica at the base of all the tracks.

This album features the Dr. Cranquis Theme, Mumbled Gripes, as well as updated mixes of songs we've featured here on our blog (thereallygoodpotroast.tumblr.com), and some brand new tracks we're really excited about.

We hope you enjoy.
